This study explored possible DNA damage (strand breaks) in human gliblastoma cells and mouse fibroblast cell lines exposed to either an FM continuous wave (analog) signal or a code division multiple access (CDMA digital) signal at an SAR of 0.6 W/kg.

Following exposure, no detectable differences in DNA damage were found in the exposed vs unexposed cells.
